On the Avery front, she's started doing the cutest thing. She's certainly little miss independent and doesn't like doing things when asked (you can see how my life is going to go from here on out). Lately however, I've discovered that you can get her to do things by asking her to hold your hand. For instance, when it's bedtime all you gotta do is say, "Avery it's time for bed, hold my hand and we'll go night night". Works like a charm. She grabs my finger and we stroll right into her room and she gets in bed. This morning it was, "Avery hold my hand and we'll go get in the car" Sure enough here we go, no screaming, no rolling around on the floor fits. Kids are weird. I love it.
