Perhaps it's best if we act like this never happened.

I'm sitting thousands of miles away from Iraq tonite, in the middle of American suburbia. My realtively luxurious existence is in sharp contrast to most of the Iraqi people, but at this moment I can honestly say that my heart may be slightly jealous of the shear joy that I'm seeing on the faces of some of these Iraqis. I just watched a man standing in line to vote in a free election for the first time in his life, and he's absolutely giddy with excitement. It's a true testament to the human spirit longing to be free from WHATEVER shackles them that so many of these people would stare danger so directly in the eye for the sake of a simple chance to help choose their own destiny. I honestly don't think that I overstate the significance of what these people are doing.
